Samoa turned on a picture-perfect day for the opening day of the 2008 Oceania Sevens, but all attention now turns to the finals on Day 2 as the region's top teams prepare to fight it our for a shot at the World Cup Sevens in Dubai in March 2009.
In the Women's competition, Australia will take on Samoa in the first semi final with New Zealand to face Fiji in the second Semi Final.
In the Men's competition, Samoa will take on Cook Islands in the first Cup Semi Final. Tonga will take on Niue in the second Semi Final.
The minor placings will be battled out by Papua New Guinea and Tahiti in the first Plate Semi Final. Solomon Islands will take on Vanuatu in the second Plate semi Final.
Day two action starts at 12pm on Saturday here at Apia Park.
