Oceania Sevens - Australia and Samoa remain undefeated after Round 2

Round 2 of the Oceania Sevens Championship has been completed this evening in Darwin.

Papua New Guinea rebounded from their first round loss to Samoa with an emphatic 27-10 victory over Niue. PNG, who impressed in their loss to Samoa, were in superb form and could be one of the danger teams of the competition.

Tonga and Cook Islands fought out a thriller with Tonga ultimately prevailing 22-14 with a try on full time.

Samoa easily accounted for Tahiti 50-0, with Alatasi Tupou amassing 26 points. Similarly, Australia cruised to victory over Vanuatu 57-0.

Australia and Samoa remain the two undefeated teams on Day 1 with one round of matches to go this evening.
